Favorite book: The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater Currently Reading: Hey, Dollface by Deborah Hautzig The library has become a safe haven for many people, including me. I filled out a Library Clerk application purely because my dad sent me the link and said that I should. It was a brand new (nerve-racking) experience for me. Now I can’t imagine my life without it. This library has helped me grow both socially & mentally. I have met some of my favorite people here. I never used libraries growing up & before this job I had no idea how important they are. Imagine my surprise when I found out that libraries have more than just books & computers. Libraries provide people from all walks of life with the ability to further investigate their interests. Not to mention the slew of information we give to patrons on a daily basis. I believe that everyone should pay a visit to their local library and find out each of the opportunities it welcomes you with. Taylor Library Clerk Years At The Library: 2 ½ Meet The Staff
