Join us Saturday, February 10th at 1 PM for a special presentation from the Dawes Arboretum!

Historian Leslie Wagner will share the history of the co-founders that founded The Dawes Arboretum in 1929. The Dawes family were incredibly well connected and have a fascinating story that will appeal to every history buff.

Why does The Arboretum have a Cypress Swamp or hedges that spell out DAWES ARBORETUM? The origin stories of the unique attractions found at the 2,000-acre site will also be discussed.  Leslie Wagner has been the Historian for ten years and wrote the application to put The Arboretum on the National Register of Historic Places.

All ages welcome. No registration required.

This event will take place in the YMCA Community Room.

Presented by the Friends of the Pataskala Library.
